The instructions provided by the heating system manufacturer must be observed. Substrate: The substrate must be dry, load-bearing, firm, grippy and free of substances that act as a separating layer. The substrate must correspond to the load-bearing capacities in accordance with DIN 1055. Suitable measures, such as blasting or milling, should be implemented to remove separating layers, laitance layers and the like.
Application: 1. Prepare the substrate. 2. Prime the screed with ASO-Unigrund. 3. Install the self-adhesive edge insulation strip RD-SK50. 4. After the primer has dried, install and fix the thin-bed heater according to the manufacturer's instructions. 5. Apply the floor levelling compound SOLOPLAN-FA, SOLOPLAN-30-PLUS or SOLOPLAN-30CA in a maximum layer thickness of 15 mm. Deaerate the still liquid layer with a suitable spiked roller and encourage it to flow. SOLOPLAN-FA, SOLOPLAN-30-PLUS and SOLOPLAN-30-CA can be covered with tiles and boards after approx. 16 hours with layer thicknesses ≤15 mm. Alternatively, the heating elements can be filled with the tile laying mortars LIGHTFLEX, MONOFLEX-XL, MONOFLEX-FB, MONOFLEX-S2 or AQUAFIN-RS300. Suitable thin-bed and flowable mortars for bonding tiles/ boards are: MONOFLEX, MONOFLEX-XL, MONOFLEX-fast, LIGHTFLEX and MONOFLEX-S2 Suitable joint compounds depending on the type and quality of the laying material are: CRISTALLFUGE-FLEX, CRISTALLFUGE-PLUS Notes: • To improve thermal insulation on uninsulated substrates, it is possible to install STEPBOARD decoupling panels. With this construction method, the underfloor heating mats must be installed using the aforementioned thinbed mortars. • The slow heating up of the floor heating system can be started no earlier than after 7 days. • The technical data sheets for the named products must be observed!
